So a couple friends of mine recently wised up and made the website switch to Showit Sites. It’s incredible what you can do with Showit Sites. I’m in the process of completely revamping my site — and I must say that I don’t even begin to tap into everything that can be done with Showit Sites. For example, in just a few minutes, I made this intro to my Africa gallery. DJ recently posted about Promise Tangemen’s site and it completely inspired me to take greater advantage of all that can be done with Showit. So hopefully sometime soon I’ll finish the revamp of my site :)
Anyways, I figured since I’ll be helping a couple friends with their sites — mainly showing them how to make what’s in their head happen on their site — that I’d open the invitation up to whoever wants to come! We’ll be at Chick-fil-a (where else!) in San Marcos (off the 78). They have internet access so if you want to come…
* Let’s (tentatively) say Thursday (the 25th) at 2:00pm.
* Bring a laptop
* Download the free version of Showit Sites (you can make a completely free site before you go for the pro version!)
* If you don’t have a laptop, get Showit Sites set up on your computer at home, and then we can sign into your account on my laptop :)
I’m no Showit Sites guru, but I figured why not open it up to whoever wants to come? And you if you aren’t planning on switching websites — but just want to hang out — you’re still more than welcome to come.
