Torrey Pines State Beach, California
I absolutely loved this wedding. Meghan is from New York and Sebastian is from Argentina. They are having a big wedding for their families later this fall out in New York — but this was their wedding day. The way they wanted it. Just for themselves. They wanted this to be the day they remembered and looked back on as the day they committed to each other. So when Meghan emailed me saying that she really wanted amazing photos for their uniquely awesome wedding day, I was immediately on board.
The two of them and four of their friends met us at Torrey Pines, grabbed some champagne and the marriage certificate from the limo, and we simply walked on the beach under the cliffs until Meghan found the spot she wanted to get married at. It was simple and endearing. Absolutely loved it.

They found their spot and just hopped up on the cliff to get married. I loved it.

I absolutely loved this wedding. There was a MAJOR part of Lindsay and me that wanted to just go to some place we thought was beautiful with a couple friends and elope like this (Meghan and Sebastian weren’t really eloping — but we would have been). We’ve always found weddings like this, as rare as they are, extremely sweet and romantic. It was such a joy to be a part of.
