So my nephew’s (Izzie and Mo) were playing their little kid hearts out in my dad’s garden today. I had to grab my camera…

I assure you – it’s mud. Mo was literally sticking his head straight into a mud puddle :)

Best buds.

Biggest. Cucumber. Ever. (probably not though)

I think Izzi’s giving himself a rhino horn on the right – something like that :)
They’re the cutest little guys, aren’t they? :)

So I met Scott last year. He lives up in Stockton and emailed me one day saying “hey, I’m going to be in SD… want to grab lunch?” Little did I know, we both had so much in common. Both lived in SD county, have wives that taught/teach preschool, both photographers, skate/snow/surf… obviously, we hit it off :)
Well I haven’t actually seen him since that day about a year ago. He emailed me this past weekend telling me they were down and wanted to do a family session with us – I was psyched not to just shoot him and his family, but more to hang out again! For those of you that know Scott, you know what I’m talking about. One of the nicest guys out there.
Anyways, here are the photos…

Huntley was literally burying himself :D

Scott trying to convince Huntley that taking more pictures really is fun ;)

Looking for seals.

Family tickle fest :)

How hot do they look here?!

I love Cheryl’s overall look :)

Baby sandwich!
Scott, it was so rad shooting and catching up again. Cheryl, Eden, and Huntley, it was a pleasure finally meeting who Scott always talks about :D

I’m LOVING family portraits!
Now that I said that, we had a great time shooting Katie and Anthony’s little family. What’s even better than that? We’re shooting their wedding in January!
Anyways, now to the photos…

I love how unsure of me Addie is at this point :D

I love the next few of these cute little sisters :)

You ready for my favorite from the whole day?!?! Probably my favorite family portrait ever…
… BLAM-O!!!

It’s like a baby being smothered in love :)
Can’t wait for the wedding in January!

For those of you wanting family portraits, definitely get in touch sooner than later. We’re off around the world for a while in three or four weeks – so now’s the time!

We had an AWESOME family session with Katie and Anthony on Friday – followed by deelish dinner at Pei Wei :D
Anyways, here a sneak peak of their shoot. Check back tomorrow for more!

Thanks to everyone who gave me awesome suggestions on a good comedy. I swear, we all have the same taste in movies! I mean, Nacho Libre, Reno 911, Stepbrothers, Shaun of the Dead… you guys basically listed off our favorite comedies! Nice to see how alike we all are :D
We ended up watching both Kill Bill’s as we couldn’t settle on a comedy. Man I LOVE those two movies!

It’s true. I have. For some reason, I’ve completely ignored portrait photography. People ask, I turn it down… But for some reason, I’ve been really wanting to get back to shooting portraits again! I think it was the couple family sessions I had last month. They were just so fun. I forgot how rad it is to shoot parents with their kids :)
Anyways, I’ve FINALLY got a family gallery up on my site. You can check that out here. More importantly, I’ve taken the advice of my portrait photography friends and built a pricing structure that is a bit more typical in portaiture. You can check that out here.
Be sure to A) let me know what you guys think of the gallery! and B) let me know if you want some family portraits! We are going to kick off with being CRAZY busy in May (I think we’re getting to every continent besides Antarctica after that point), so the sooner the better :)
