Percy Warner engagement photos: Mark and LeAnna

LeAnna is SUCH a sweet girl, a long time blog reader, and an awesome photographer! We’ve actually nearly shot her and her husband on a couple of occasions while out in Nashville — but it never seemed to pan out in the details :) Anyways, shooting for fellow photographers is always a bit more challenging (as you know that these people will REALLY know if you screw it up :P), but people like LeAnna and Mark just make it so fun for me.

We shot these at Percy Warner park in Nashville — man I wish we had places like this in San Diego! Heck, maybe we do and I’m just not aware of them? Either way, what an awesome place to shoot at…

San Diego Engagement Photos: Daniel and Lara

Daniel and Lara. We really, really loved these two. We shot their engagements a week before their wedding — and their wedding was just this past Saturday. So their wedding photos should be up as soon as I can get them up :) Here’s some from their engagement shoot.

Shelby and Stephen. I love these two! I’d be shooting their wedding in Beijing in a HEARTBEAT!!! But unfortunately I don’t get back from South Africa in time :(

Shelby and Stephen were wanting elements of every day Beijing life infused in their images. Since I’ve been going to China on a regular basis over the last ten years, I was so into this idea! Anyways, here are the images :)

Cherry blossoms are an iconic piece of imagery in China. I love being in Beijing when they are in bloom.

One of the funnest places alive — the Silk Market in Beijing. This place is 6 stories and just insane for shopping (and bartering). Shelby has made many friends here — and this is taken in front of her friend’s shop (just before she invited her to the wedding :).

This is one of my favorite places to eat in the world — it’s this Korean restaurant in Beijing. Shelby took me to this place years ago — and now it’s a favorite of theirs :)


Shelby and Stephen were big on the idea of having regular Chinese people involved in their images. I love the entire series of the above images for all the people that are in them :)

La Jolla Engagement Photos – Full Post

Shamar and Chris are as sweet and cute as they come. They were all giddy during our shoot. Lindsay and I loved it.

Can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year!

How gorgeous is Shamar? Seriously.

I’m hoping to have the full post of Yulia and Barry’s Hotel Del Coronado wedding photos tomorrow. Crossing my fingers…
